1. In the Navigation pane, select the Circulation tab.

  2. In the File Activities pane, select Box Labels. The Desktop Label Printing interface opens, displaying a list of boxes that are due for label printing.

NOTE: To verify box information before printing labels, select a box and press the Enter key. The Edit Box dialog opens to modify the information in any of the available fields.

  1. To check out the box after label printing, select the Check out to check box:

    • Myself: To check out the box to yourself.

    • Other User: To check out the box for another user, select the  icon and select a user.
      NOTE: If the user doesn't have a default delivery location assigned, the application doesn't perform a checkout during label printing. For information on assigning a delivery location to a user, contact your application administrator.

  2. Select Print Report, or in the File Activities pane, select Box Labels Report.
    Alternatively, select boxes, and select Print Selected. If you are printing labels for the first time, the Select Label printer and Label report format dialog opens.

  3. From the Printer settings list, select a printer to use as the default printer.

  4. From the Select label report format list, select a format to set how information should be displayed in the label.
    The printer and label formats are saved and automatically selected the next time you print labels.

  5. Select OK. The labels for the selected boxes are generated and appear in Report View.

  6. On the Report View toolbar, select Print. The Print dialog opens.

  7. Select a printer and verify the printer settings.

  8. Select OK.

On printing labels, the boxes move from the Pending Labels list to the Printed Labels list.

When label generation is in process, if you select Print Report or Print Selected, a message is displayed. Select one of the following:

  • Yes: To cancel the current process, and schedule a new one.

  • No: To continue the current process.
