In the Navigation pane, select Circulation tab.
In the File Activities pane, select File Labels. The Desktop Label Printing interface opens, displaying a list of file parts that are due for label printing.
NOTE: To verify file part information before printing labels, select a file part and press the Enter key. The Edit File Part dialog opens to modify the information in any of the available fields.
If you want to check out the file part after label printing, select Check out to check box:
Myself: To check out the file part to yourself.
Other User: To check out the file part to another user, select icon and then select a user.
NOTE: If the user doesn't have a default delivery location assigned, the application doesn't perform a checkout during label printing. For information on assigning a delivery location to a user, contact your application administrator.
Select Print Report, or in the File Activities pane, select File Labels Report.
Alternatively, select specific file parts, and select Print Selected. If you are printing labels for the first time, the Select Label printer and Label report format dialog opens.From the Printer settings list, select a printer to use as the default printer.
From the Select label report format list, select a format to set how information should be displayed in the label.
Select OK. The labels for the selected file parts are generated and appear in the Report View.
On the Report View toolbar, select Print. The Print dialog opens.
Select a printer and verify the printer settings.
Note: The printer and label formats are saved and automatically selected the next time you print labels.
Select OK.
On printing labels, the file parts move from the Pending Items list to the Printed Items list.
When label generation is in process, if you select Print Report or Print Selected, a message is displayed. Select one of the following:
Yes: To cancel the current process, and schedule a new one.
No: To continue the current process.
