Applies to: Standalone Web Client 

A typical hierarchy consists of the client as the top level of the file plan. Each client can contain one or more matters.

Properties

Select  and then select Properties, or select the <ADD> icon, to view the following in the Details panel:

  1. Properties tab: View and, where applicable, edit information about the client.
    NOTE: If you have rights to adjust client property information, it'll be possible to do so directly within this panel. Changes are captured immediately and evidenced in the client Timeline.

    • Editing client description: Select the description field, make the changes, and then select  to save.

    • Selecting the Responsible Attorney: Select the responsible attorney field and then select the required attorney from the drop-down list.

  2. Holds tab: Displays information about the holds assigned to the client. Select to filter the holds.

  3. Timeline Tab: Displays information about the time, date, and the user who modified the client. Select  to filter the timeline.
    NOTE:

    • Select  (Hide Details icon) to expand or collapse the client details menu.

    • It's possible to filter clients based on the Responsible Attorney or the Practice Area. For more information, refer to Configuring Filters.

Row actions

Select a client and (on that row) select the  icon. The following actions are displayed:

  • Add to My Favorites

  • Properties
