iManage Share users can now use the Client EZ Drop Zone feature to send upload requests for folders.
NOTE:
The administrator must enable this feature on the Company Profile tab.
The Client EZ Drop Zone feature offers the following capabilities:
Sending an Upload Request
You can create an upload request for a folder (Private or Shared).
Hover over the desired folder and select > Send Upload Request. (Optional) Right click the folder and select Send Upload Request, or open the folder and select > Send Upload Request.
The Send Upload Request screen is displayed, which enables you to provide the email address of the external user. The Message field is optional within the Send Upload Request email.
NOTE:
The Send Upload Request option is not available when you select the icon on the Company View screen.
Using the Upload Request URL
You can use the Upload Request URL feature to share an upload link request. When an external user launches this URL, Request Upload Link screen is displayed. The user must provide the email address to receive the upload link request.
Common Upload Form
After the email address is provided on the Upload Request URL screen, the external user receives a Complete Upload Request email. This email has a link to the screen that enables the user to upload files to iManage Share.
If the user has provided a wrong email address, an email is sent to the Owner of the Target folder, and a folder titled Undelivered Mailbox is created.
NOTE:
Upload request can be used until the link expires.
