From iManage Drive 10.13.0 onward, you can co-author documents using iManage Drive if your administrator has enabled Microsoft 365 for the desktop application in iManage Control Center.
To open the original version of the file for co-authoring, you can do any of the following:
Right-click the file, select iManage Drive, and then select Edit (Co-author).
Double-click the file, if you have set Check-in options to Replace original in Preferences and Co-author on open in Co-authoring options.
To start a co-authoring session on a file, if Check-in options are set to New Version, then right-click the file and select Edit (Co-author). If Check-in options is set to New Version, then you can’t initiate co-authoring when you double-click the file.
If the file is already open in co-authoring mode, then the iManage Drive automatically opens it in co-authoring mode regardless of what you have set in Preferences.
When the file is opened in co-authoring mode, the AutoSave option is enabled in Microsoft 365 applications for desktop. All edits are automatically saved to iManage Work without waiting for iManage Drive to sync the changes.
NOTES:
iManage Work Next Generation Co-authoring is available only to users of iManage Work at cloudimanage.com.
The status column displays the globe icon if the file is already opened in co-authoring mode.
