Unpacking Chromium binaries to Program Files

IMPORTANT:

From 10.5.0 onwards, only iManage Work Panel and iManage Tracker use DotNetBrowser Chromium control. Sign-in forms, integrated application pickers, and integrated application task panes are integrated with Microsoft Edge WebView2 control.

You can use the iwunpackbrowser32.exe and iwunpackbrowser64.exe command line tools to extract Chromium binaries prior to running the integrated applications with iManage Work Desktop for Windows. This reduces the application startup time, especially for multi-user environments like Citrix, as the Chromium control is no longer loaded from Program Files instead of user's profile location. The tools are packaged together and available in the iManage Installer. Hence, you should run both the 32-bit and 64-bit command line tools for Chromium control to work with 32-bit and 64-bit versions of integrated applications.

To extract the binaries, you must specify the extract location. Use /? for help on the command and provide the location name.

NOTE:

There is only one parameter, which is the location where the binaries have to be extracted. Once the Chromium binaries are extracted, use the ChromiumDirectory registry setting at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\iManage\Work\10.0\Common\Options to read from the location where it is extracted.
