This section describes the system requirements, supported platforms, and software dependencies for iManage Work Desktop for Windows version 10.10.1. NOTE: You must install iManage Agent Services before installing iManage Work Desktop for Windows.

Make sure that you install compatible versions of iManage Work Desktop for Windows and iManage Agent Services. iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.10.1 is compatible with iManage Agent Services 10.10.1.9.

iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.10.1 is certified to be used with iManage Cloud and iManage Work Server 10.4.8 or later. If you're using any iManage Work Server version before 10.4.8, we recommend that you upgrade to this or a later version.

  • Microsoft Windows 11 (x64)

  • Microsoft Windows Server 2016 or later

  • Microsoft Windows for ARM x64 processors

NOTE: 32-bit versions of Windows aren’t supported.

Supported Microsoft applications

Microsoft Office 365, Office LTSC 2024 64-bit/32-bit, and Office LTSC 2021 64-bit/32-bit
iManage integration is available for Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Visio). We recommend using x64 Microsoft Office versions.

NOTE: Microsoft Office must be installed in a per-machine context. Installing the iManage Office and Microsoft Outlook integration for Microsoft Office, which was installed in a per-user context, isn't supported.

We strongly recommends using x64 Microsoft Office versions for improved performance, in line with the recommendation from Microsoft. 

Supported Adobe Acrobat applications

  • Adobe Acrobat DC Reader 

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro and Standard 2020

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and Standard (Continuous)

NOTE: If using Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and Standard with iManage Work Desktop for Windows in integrated mode, ensure that the Enable Protected Mode at startup (Preview) option is deselected and Protected View is set to Off under Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced)).

iManage Work 10 installers disable this setting by default.

From version 10.7.0 onward, Adobe Acrobat applications are supported in both integrated mode and non-integrated mode. For more information about this feature, refer to the Working with Adobe Acrobat applications in non-integrated mode section in iManage Work Desktop for Windows Help

From version 10.8.0 onward, support for Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro 2017 is deprecated. 

Supported applications in non-integrated mode

Editing any file that's saved to iManage Work is supported with its native application using non-integrated support, including the following:

  • 64-bit Adobe Acrobat DC Reader 

  • Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro DC

  • Corel Office 2021 (WordPerfect, Presentations, and Quattro Pro)
