This section describes the system requirements, supported platforms, and software dependencies for iManage Work Desktop for Windows version 10.9.3. NOTE:

You must install Agent Services before installing iManage Work Desktop for Windows if you are deploying iManage Work Desktop for Windows using an enterprise deployment tool. 

Also, ensure that you install equivalent versions of iManage Work Desktop for Windows and iManage Agent Services. For example, if you install iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.9.3 with Agent Services 10.8.0 (or the other way around), you may experience issues. Install iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.9.3 with iManage Agent Services 10.9.0.

iManage Work Desktop for Windows 10.9.3 is certified to be used with iManage Cloud and iManage Work Server 10.4.4 or later. If you are using any iManage Work Server version before 10.4.4, we recommend that you upgrade to this or later version. 

Supported platforms

  • Microsoft Windows 11 (x64)

  • Microsoft Windows 10 (x64)

NOTE:

  • If you are running Windows 10 in Store mode, switch out of this mode and install the Click-to-run version of Microsoft Office. Microsoft recommends this, as Microsoft Office add-ins may not work if Office is running on Windows 10 in S mode.   • iManage Work Desktop for Windows doesn't currently support installation on devices with Windows ARM processors. Support for platforms running Windows ARM processors is being evaluated for a future release.

Supported Microsoft Office applications

Microsoft Office 2021, Office 2019, Office 2016, and Microsoft 365
iManage integration is available for Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio). iManage recommends using x64 Microsoft Office versions.

NOTE: Microsoft Office must be installed in a per-machine context. Installing the iManage Office and Microsoft Outlook integration for Microsoft Office, which was installed in a per-user context, isn't supported.

iManage strongly recommends using x64 Microsoft Office versions for improved performance, inline with the recommendation from Microsoft. 

Supported Adobe Acrobat applications

  • Adobe Acrobat DC Reader 

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro and Standard 2020

  • Adobe Acrobat Pro DC and Standard (Continuous)

NOTE:

If using Adobe Acrobat Reader and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro and Standard with iManage Work Desktop for Windows in integrated mode, ensure Enable Protected Mode at startup (Preview) option is unselected and Protected View is set to Off under Edit > Preferences > Security (Enhanced)).

iManage Work 10 installers 10.0.2 and later disable this setting by default.

From version 10.7.0 onwards, Adobe Acrobat applications are supported in both integrated mode and non-integrated mode. For more information about this feature, refer to the Working with Adobe Acrobat applications in non-integrated mode section in iManage Work Desktop for Windows Help

From version 10.8.0 onwards, support for Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro 2017 is deprecated. 

Supported applications in non-ingrated mode

Editing any file that is saved to iManage Work is supported with its native application using non-integrated support, including the following:

  • Adobe Acrobat DC Reader 

    • Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro DC

    • Corel Office 2021 (WordPerfect, Presentations, and Quattro Pro)
