While editing a document that already exists in iManage Work, select Save As New Version on the iManage tab to save your changes as a new version of the same document. The New Version dialog box is displayed. It enables you to change key metadata, such as add a comment or change the document type, before saving the version.
When you select Save, a new version of the document is generated in iManage Work. The new version remains open for further editing.
NOTE:
You can use the Save As New Version option while working offline. Edit document details if desired, and select Save. The file is saved to your local disk and you are prompted to upload the file to the server when you next sign in.
