You can save your changes as a new version of the same document, while editing a document that already exists in iManage Work.
On the iManage tab, select Save as New Version. The New Version dialog box appears. It enables you to change/add metadata such as the Author, Comments, or Type. For more information, see Viewing and editing PDF properties.
Select Save. A new version of the document is generated in iManage Work, and remains open for further editing.
NOTE:
The new version is saved with an incremental number. For example, if you are working with the document number 43657.1, the number displayed in the PDF title and the document properties changes to 43657.2 (the decimal value indicates the version number). Your name is updated in the Operator field in the document properties.
