Saving attachments to iManage Work from Microsoft Outlook
You can save email attachments to iManage Work using keyboard shortcuts by doing the following:
- Open Microsoft Outlook and press CTRL+Y to open the Go to Folder dialog box.
- Use the RIGHT/LEFT and UP/DOWN arrow keys and then press ENTER. The focus is now on the selected folder and all the emails in the folder are displayed in the reading pane.
- Use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to select the email whose attachment you want to save to iManage Work.
- Do one of the following:
- Press ALT and then press the shortcut keys displayed in Microsoft Outlook to access the Save Attachments option. For example, press H to access the Home tab and then press Y2 to access Save Attachments. The Save Attachments options is now highlighted.
- Press CTRL+O to open the email. Use TAB, RIGHT/LEFT, and UP/DOWN arrow keys to navigate through the EMM toolbar until the Save Attachments button is highlighted.
- In Microsoft Outlook, use TAB, and the RIGHT/LEFT and UP/DOWN arrow keys to navigate through the EMM toolbar until the Save Attachments button is now highlighted.
- Do one of the following:
- To save a single attachment, use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to select the attachment you want to save. Alternatively, if Microsoft Outlook displays shortcut keys, you can use them to select the attachment that you want to save to iManage Work. When the attachment is selected, use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to either select New Version or New Document and press Enter. If you have:
- selected New Document, the Save As dialog box appears. Use TAB, UP/DOWN, and RIGHT/LEFT arrow keys to save the attachment to iManage Work. For more information about how to save documents to iManage Work using keyboard shortcuts, refer to Saving documents to iManage Work.
- selected New Version, the Select a File dialog box appears. Use TAB, UP/DOWN, and RIGHT/LEFT arrow keys to select a file to which you want to save the attachment as a new version. - To save a single attachment, use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to select the attachment you want to save.
