1. Open Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel and place the insertion point wherever you add the hyperlink.
  2. Select Services > Insert Hyperlink.


    The iManage Work options on the Services menu work only if you use the classic Outlook view; the options don’t function in new Outlook.

  3. Navigate to the file for which you want to insert a hyperlink.
  4. Select Insert Latest Version or Insert This Version.
  5. (Optional) By default, the file name is displayed as a hyperlink. Enter the desired text in the Text to Display field and select OK
    A hyperlink is inserted. Select it to check out the file and open it in the native application.
