A valid iManage Work at cloudimanage.com user account.
iManage Work Mobility 10.24.2 or later should be installed on iOS devices.
The following operating systems are supported:
Microsoft Windows devices: Windows 11 or Windows 10
iOS devices: iOS 17.6 or later
MacOS devices: macOS Sonoma 14.7.1 or macOS Sequoia 15.2
A valid Microsoft 365 license. When using iOS devices, we recommend that you apply Microsoft Intune MAM or MDM policy to the apps.
Microsoft 365 applications for the desktop should be installed if you want to co-author a file using desktop version of Microsoft 365 applications or the Edit (Co-Author) option.
Microsoft Windows devices: Use one of the following versions:
Current Channel: Version 2204 (Build 15128.20178) or later
Monthly Enterprise Channel: Version 2206 (Build 15330.20306) or later
Semi-Annual Enterprise Channel: Version 2302 (Build 16130.20644) or later
iOS devices: Use 2.91.0 or later versions
macOS devices: Use 16.91 (24111020), 16.91.1 (24111613), 16.92 (24120731) or later versions.
NOTES:
If Microsoft 365 applications for the desktop is not installed on the your Microsoft Windows or macOS devices and you try to open a file in any other version of Microsoft Office, then the following message is displayed, “This action cannot be performed because Office doesn’t recognize the command it was given“.
For iOS devices, you can also co-author files using Microsoft Word for iOS, Microsoft Excel for iOS, or Microsoft PowerPoint for iOS if these apps are installed. However, if Microsoft 365 for iOS or Microsoft Word for iOS, Microsoft Excel for iOS, and Microsoft PowerPoint for iOS isn't installed, then you will be prompted to install the Microsoft 365 for iOS applications.
The following web browsers should be installed if you want to co-author using Microsoft 365 for the web:
Microsoft Windows devices: Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge
macOS devices: Google Chrome or Safari
The following iManage web extensions must be enabled in iManage Control Center:
Microsoft 365 for the desktop: This is required to co-author files using the Microsoft 365 applications for the desktop.
Microsoft 365 for the web: This is required to co-author files using Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge or Safari.
Microsoft 365 for mobile: This is required to co-author files on iOS devices.
Additionally, the following points should be noted:
It isn't possible to co-author a file using Microsoft Office 2021, Microsoft Office 2019, Microsoft Office 2016, or any other version of Microsoft Office applications.
Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications integrations with on-premises servers aren't supported.
The iManage IP allow list functionality isn't supported.
If you are using an Umbrella Proxy to monitor and secure web traffic, iManage IP addresses need to be added to an allow list to prevent errors in the Microsoft 365 applications.
iManage Work Next Generation Co-authoring doesn't require iManage Work Desktop for Windows or iManage Work Desktop for Mac.
If you already have iManage Work Desktop for Windows installed, there's no direct integration.
