When you’re using Microsoft 365 for the web to co-author your files, all your edits are automatically saved back to iManage Work at cloudimanage.com every 5 minutes. Additionally, if others users open or leave the file you’re co-authoring, then the save action is automatically performed.

IMPORTANT: When co-authoring files using a mix of Microsoft 365 PowerPoint for the web and Microsoft 365 PowerPoint for the desktop with multiple users actively editing, it can take several seconds for all the user’s edits to be synced and saved back to the iManage Work.

We recommend that after making any edits, users wait a minimum of 5 seconds after the save icon appears before exiting your browser to close your co-authoring session.

NOTES:

  • No explicit Save option is available when using Microsoft 365 for the web. 

  • The auto-save frequency can't be modified for Microsoft 365 for the web.

If you’re using Microsoft 365 applications for the desktop (on Microsoft Windows, iOS devices, or macOS devices) or the Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, or Microsoft PowerPoint for iOS applications, all your edits are automatically saved to iManage Work at cloudimanage.com, if you've turned on the AutoSave option. Additionally, if other users access or leave the file you're co-authoring, then the save action is automatically performed.
