You can ask a question of one document at a time using the guided actions in the Ask iManage side panel. You can also ask a question to one or more documents using the Ask iManage main page.

The guided actions help you in selecting the right option based on the response you're seeking. Upon selecting an action, Ask iManage also suggests dynamic, document-specific recommendations customized to your content that you can use to frame your question, or even use the recommended suggestions as is. Additionally, you can save the question being asked, for subsequent use, eliminating the need to re-enter the question.

The Answer formatting feature gives you greater control over how information is presented, reducing the need for manual reformatting. By default, the Smart format option intelligently selects the optimal structure and detail level, ensuring clarity and relevance without additional input.
