In iManage Control Center, enable the iManage MCP Control Center Extension and iManage MCP Service applications.

For more information, refer to iManage Control Center documentation.

  1. Sign in to iManage Control Center using admin credentials.

  2. In the left pane, select Settings > Applications.

  3. Select +Add Application and in the search box, enter MCP.

NOTE: If either or both applications are not listed in the search results, contact your tenant administrator to enable them.

If iManage MCP Control Center Extension is not enabled, the MCP Settings page will not be displayed in iManage Control Center. If iManage MCP Service is not enabled, the Assign Access Policy tab in MCP Settings will be unavailable.

  1. Select iManage MCP Control Center Extension and then:

    1. Select Authentication.

    2. Select Access.

      • All users: Select this option to provide access to all the available users.

      • Custom: Search and add the specific users to provide access.

    3. Select Review to review your changes and then select Finish.

  2. Select +Add Application and in the search box, enter MCP.

  3. Select iManage MCP Service and then:

    1. Select Authentication.

    2. Slide the Allow Refresh Token toggle to the right and then select Access.

    3. Select one of the following application access options:

      • All users: Select this option to provide access to all the available users.

      • Custom: Search and add the specific users to provide access.

      NOTE: Changes made in the Assign Access Policy tab in MCP Settings (including switching between All users and Restricted — allowed list only and adding or removing users and groups) are automatically reflected here. Similarly, changes made to the application access options here are reflected in the Assign Access Policy tab. For more information, refer to Assign Access Policy.

    4. Select Review to review your changes and then select Finish.

NOTE: The users or groups granted access to iManage MCP Control Center Extension and iManage MCP Service don't need to match. iManage MCP Control Center Extension controls visibility of the MCP Settings tab. iManage MCP Service controls which users can authenticate through iManage MCP Server. These are independent access lists.

Both iManage MCP Control Center Extension and iManage MCP Service are now displayed in the Applications list. Proceed to Configuring MCP settings.
