1. In the left pane in iManage Control Center, select Extensions > MCP Settings > Assign Access Policy.

  2. In the User access section, select one of the following:

NOTE: The option you select here determines who can access MCP features and also controls the behavior of the Allowed users and groups/Permission overrides section. Also, the settings configured here are automatically reflected in the iManage MCP Service application settings. For more information, refer to Adding the iManage MCP application in iManage Control Center.

    • All users: The users and groups, which you allowed while adding the application in iManage Control Center, can use MCP features. For more information, refer to the Applications section in iManage Control Center Help.

In the Permission overrides section below, you can assign a specific access policy to individual users and groups. Any user or group not listed there is automatically assigned the Default Policy.

    • Restricted — allowed list only: Only users and groups explicitly added using the Allowed users & groups section below can use MCP features.

In the Allowed users & groups section below, you must add every user and group that requires access and assign them an access policy. Any user or group not listed there has no access, including to the Default Policy.

  3. Select Save.

NOTE: Until there are unsaved changes on this tab, the “Pending changes” message is displayed in the top bar (on the left of the Save button). If you try switching to another tab without saving, you're prompted to save or discard the changes.
