The Properties panel on the search results page displays certain predefined metadata for the selected search item. The list of metadata displayed can be configured in iManage Insight+ administration interface.
As the iManage Insight+ Administrator for your organization, you can configure the metadata to be displayed in the Properties panel for a selected search result.
NOTE: iManage Insight+ comes with pre-configured metadata properties for each of the different content types (documents, emails, people, matters, and clients) it supports. You can edit these properties as per your requirement.
On the Configuration page, select Content types.

If you know the property you're looking for, you can search for it using the Find properties search field. All properties that are already added to the view settings for the content type in the Available properties panel, appear grayed out. For example, Author is grayed out as it's already a property added in the Properties panel for the content type.Figure: Available properties pane
NOTE: To enable iManage Insight+ Matter Locator (Matter Search) feature, you must have an Insight+ Professional Tier license for your organization. This will allow you to add matter-specific metadata for Matters, documents, and Everything locator. To activate this feature or for more information, contact iManage Support.
You can add matter-specific metadata to the right-hand side Properties panel for matters, and also choose to add any matter metadata, for example matterID, mattername, mattervalue, and so on, to all documents and Everything locator to be displayed on the right-hand side Properties panel. The Matter metadata is sourced from the organization’s business systems through integration with the data warehouse. This feature provides a comprehensive view of matters with results, enabling quick access to the Matter Dashboards. For example—selecting the matterID in the right-hand side Properties panel directly links you to the Matter Dashboard.
