Items available for disposition processing can be approved or denied.

By default, there are four denial reasons available in IRM:

• Legal hold

• Government Investigation

• General Investigation

• Contents associated with an active matter

You can edit these reasons or define additional reasons for which your organization denies disposition approval. When an approved reviewer denies approval for an item in IRM Web Client, they must select one of these reasons.
