To allow users to search for the new properties, add the properties to the Matter search form:

1. Before closing the New Matter or Edit Matter form, select all of the controls that you just added. To select multiple controls, hold down the CTRL key while selecting each control.

2. On the toolbar Clipboard section, select Copy.

3. Select the Search Matter form to display it in Forms Designer. Resize or reposition any of the existing controls to fit the new controls.

4. On the toolbar Clipboard section, select Paste.
   The same controls are pasted in this form.

5. Locate the Date Range control and drag it into the form displayed in the designer pane.

6. On the toolbar, select Save.
