iManage Records Manager facilitates the distinction of warehouse vendors by introducing a Vendor ID option for boxes.
When this setting is enabled on a mobile computer, vendor ID is prepended to the box ID to ensure that box identifiers are unique. These unique identifiers are supported throughout relevant iManage Records Manager applications.
Enabling vendor ID
Open the iManage Barcode Scanner app on your mobile computer.
Select Settings from the menu. The Barcode Alterations settings are displayed.

Yes.Select Save. Entry of a vendor ID is enabled.

Setting a vendor ID
When vendor ID entry is enabled, you're prompted to enter (or scan) a warehouse vendor ID when you first perform an action on a box—for example, check in or check out.
The vendor ID that you first enter on a mobile computer is retained for all subsequent box operations, including scans, until the vendor ID is edited, or the setting is subsequently disabled.
Editing a vendor ID
When a vendor ID is entered, that vendor ID is used as the default value for all box-related actions.
To change the vendor ID:
Open the iManage Barcode Scanner app on your mobile computer.
Select any box-related action from the menu. Vendor ID is displayed.
Select Back. The Vendor ID field becomes editable.
Enter (or scan) a warehouse vendor ID. If you're entering the ID by text, select
to confirm. This vendor ID is retained for all subsequent box operations, including scans, until the vendor ID is edited again, or until the setting is subsequently disabled.
