You can export label information to a file in the XML format. This XML file can be used by an external label printing application to print labels.

  1. In the Navigation pane, select the Circulation tab.

  2. In the File Activities pane, select File Labels or Box Labels, depending on whether you are exporting file part label information or box label information. The Desktop Label Printing interface opens

  3. Select the Configure link. The Options dialog opens.

  4. Select the Export label data to option.

  5. Select the  icon to display the Browse For Folder dialog.

  6. Select a location to save the file.
    This location is saved and automatically selected the next time you export labels. 

  7. Select OK to close the Browse for Folder dialog, and return to the Options dialog.

  8. Select OK to close the Options dialog.

  9. In the File Activities pane, select File Labels or Box Labels, depending on whether you are exporting file part labels or box labels.

  10. Select Print Report. Alternatively, select file parts or boxes, and select Print Selected. The Report Exported window opens in the lower right of the screen.
    The label information is saved as a file on your local system.

NOTE: On exporting label information, the file parts or boxes move from the Pending Items list to the Printed Items list.
