Overview

You can add records, and other items to which you frequently require access, to your Favorites. Any items added to Favorites can be viewed using the My Favorites page that's accessible from the navigation bar.

Each favorite has a unique URL that can be bookmarked for ease of reference. Bookmarks are accessible only to the user that created them.

NOTE: Favorites are saved in IRM Web Client only.

Procedures and additional details

Adding items to My Favorites

Boxes and certain records from the File Plan can be added to your Favorites.

Selected items can be added to Favorites from:

  • File Plan

    • Row action ( ) of an applicable item: Select Add to My Favorites.

    • Multiselect applicable items: Select (Add to My Favorites).

  • Boxes

    • Row action ( ) of a selected box: Select Add to My Favorites.

    • Multiselected Boxes: Select (Add to My Favorites).

  • Search results including Advanced Search results.

    • Row action ( ) of an applicable item: Select Add to My Favorites.

A success message is displayed when a favorite is added.

Removing items from My Favorites

To remove an item from your Favorites:

  1. From the list under My Favorites in the navigation bar, select in the row of the Favorite you wish to remove.

  2. Select Remove from My Favorites. A confirmation message is displayed.

Bookmarking favorite items

  1. From the list under My Favorites in the navigation bar, Select a Favorite.

  2. Save the URL displayed in the address bar as a bookmark in your browser.

NOTE: Favorite URLs are unique and accessible only to your user profile.

Properties

 To view the items in the Details panel, select  in the row of a Favorite and then select Properties.

The properties available for items in the favorites list correspond to the respective properties of the same items as they are displayed under Boxes and File Plan. For additional information, refer to the Properties section under Boxes and corresponding File Plan item.

Row actions

Select in the row of a favorite (in the list under My Favorites in the navigation bar). The following actions are displayed:

Filtering

My Favorites can be filtered by Favorite Type. For more information, refer to Filters.
