The Home page provides a breakdown of clients, matters, client groups, collections, cases, opposing team sets, users, and groups in iManage Security Policy Manager. Additionally, the dashboard includes a graphical representation of the client, matter, client group, and case level security overview.

Overview panel
Clients: Displays the count of clients for which security policy is applied through this application. Select View Clients to navigate to the Clients dashboard where all the clients are listed. The Clients dashboard is filtered to display only the clients and not the client groups. For more information about clients, refer to Clients.
Client Groups: Displays the count of client groups for which security policy is applied through this application. Select View Client Groups to navigate to the Clients dashboard where all the client client groups are listed. The Clients dashboard is filtered to display only the client groups and not the clients. For more information about client groups, refer to Client Groups.
- Matters: Displays the total count of matters across all clients/client groups. This is a view-only pane. For more information about matters, refer to Matters.
- Collections: Displays the total count of collections defined within iManage Security Policy Manager. Select View Collections to navigate to the Collections dashboard where all the collections are listed. For more information about collections, refer to Collections.
- Cases: Displays the count of cases for which security policy is applied through this application. Select View Cases to navigate to the Cases dashboard where all the cases are listed. For more information about cases, refer to Cases.
- Opposing Team Sets: Displays the count of opposing team sets applied across all assets through this application. Select View Opposing Team sets to navigate to the Opposing Teams Sets dashboard where all the opposing team sets are listed. For more information about opposing team sets, refer to Managing Opposing Team Sets.
- Holds: Displays the count of holds applied across all assets through this application. Select View Holds to navigate to the Holds dashboard where all holds are listed. For more information about holds in iManage SPM, refer to Holds.
Users panel
- Users: This pane lists the count of users added in the application. Select View Users to navigate to the Users / Roles page where all the users are listed. The Users / Roles page is filtered to display only the list of users and not the user groups.
- Groups: This pane lists the count of user groups added in the application. Select View Groups to navigate to the Users / Roles page where all the user groups are listed. The Users / Roles page is filtered to display only the list of user groups and not the users.
Security Overview panel
Select the Security Overview drop-down menu on the upper right-hand side of the panel to display the following:
- Client Security: The pie chart representation provides a breakdown of security policies applied to various clients. At the client level, the two possible security policies are: Open and Restricted. A pie slice represents the number of clients with either of the two security policies applied. Selecting a pie slice navigates you to the Clients dashboard that displays the clients with the corresponding security policy. The Clients dashboard is filtered to display only the clients and not the client groups.
- Client Group Security: The pie chart representation provides a breakdown of security policies applied to various client groups. At the client group level, the two possible security policies are: Open and Restricted. A pie slice represents the number of client groups with either of the two security policies applied. Selecting a pie slice navigates you to the Clients dashboard that displays the client groups with the corresponding security policy. The Clients dashboard is filtered to display only the client groups and not the clients.
- Matter Security: The pie chart representation provides a breakdown of security policies applied to various matters across clients/client groups. At the matter level, the possible security policies are: Open, Restricted by Client, and Restricted. Drilldown is available.
- Case Security: The pie chart representation provides a break down of security policies applied to various cases. Selecting a pie slice navigates you to the Cases dashboard that displays the cases with the corresponding security policy.
