Task: Download logs

From Configuration > Settings > Status, you can download the log file for the Web Service, the Tasks Engine, and the Ingestion Service. Select Download Log to download the ZIP file and view the details.

Viewing and retrying tasks that have encountered issues

If an ingestion process has failed, a View Data Loading Issues button appears on the Configuration > Settings > Status page, on the row of library to which it relates. Selecting this button opens a dialog which provides further information to help identify the issue. For some status types, a Retry Processes option is also available.

Problems that may be identified in this way include: change of Work database server password; change of server IP or server name; database server not responding, and so on. You can use this information to determine how to resolve the issue. For example, you can edit the properties of a library that caused ingestion to fail. For further information, or if the cause of the issue is still not clear, check the Ingestion logs.

You can also set the retry time for some types of failed tasks. For more information, refer to Advanced configuration.

No new activity warning

If no new activity is detected for a library, or for a task-identified external import task, aicon - no new activity.PNGtooltip is displayed on the relevant row. Hover over the tooltip to view the date and time of the last activity detected.
