Supported platforms

The iManage Drive 10.8.0 application can be installed on macOS Catalina 10.15.6 or Big Sur.

NOTE:

iManage Drive for Mac 10.8.0 does not install correctly if you are using macOS Ventura. If you are using macOS Ventura and want to use iManage Drive for Mac on your machine, after iManage Drive for Mac is installed, run the following command in a Terminal: open /Applications/iManage/iManageDrive.app/Contents/Resources/iManageDriveNative.app.

However, if you have already installed iManage Drive 10.8.0 on a device with a version prior to macOS Ventura and then upgrade to macOS Ventura, then you do not have to run the above command to use iManage Drive for Mac 10.8.0.

If you have Microsoft Office installed, ensure it is version 16.44 or later.

Prerequisites

  • iManage Drive requires iManage Work Server 10.2 build 10.2.0.151 or later. On-premises Work Server versions 10.2.0.151 – 10.2.0.175 require a security patch update. See CRITICAL ADVISORY: Update required to address iManage Work Server security vulnerability.

    NOTE:

To use the container download feature for a large number of users in your organization, iManage Drive must connect to iManage Work Server 10.3.1 or later.

  • One iManage Work Server is recommended for every 500 iManage Drive users. This is a general recommendation and the following variables that may reduce or increase the number of servers required:

    • iManage Drive users that are simultaneously active.

    • If your organization has an existing server setup, the existing servers can be reused if they are not heavily loaded.

    • The frequency of document changes in the workspaces being synced by iManage Drive.

    • The average number of documents each user will sync at any given time.

  • There are no browser pre-requisites for iManage Drive 10.8.0.
