Enabling Microsoft Office for the web menu options in iManage Work

When your administrator enables Microsoft Office for the web functionality in your iManage Work environment, it is possible that you may not see the following menu options when you sign into iManage Work.

NOTE:

  • The new file options are available only within a folder.

  • The view or edit options do not appear for the file types that are not supported.


Before you get started, navigate to a folder and check if Microsoft Office for the web options are available. If they are not available, then clear the cache by doing the following:

  1. Select your name on the upper-right corner and then select User Settings. The User Settings dialog box appears.

  2. Select Show advanced settings and then select Clear local cached settings. The cache is cleared and iManage Work reloads.

  3. Select a supported file format and check if Microsoft Office for the web options are available. You should now be able to see the Microsoft Office for the web options.

NOTE:

  • This is one-time activity.

  • If you are unable to view the Microsoft Office for the web options even after clearing the cache, navigate to Recent Documents and then clear the cache.

  • Contact your administrator or iManage Support if the menu options are not displayed even after you have cleared the cache twice.
