You can view the list of assets that you are excluded from, on the My Exclusions page. You can be excluded from an asset by being listed as conflicted user on that asset, or as a result of opposing team set membership (for example an information barrier).

Any conflicts that require your acknowledgement are displayed with  on the row of the asset.

NOTE:

Depending on how SPM has been configured by your organization, the My Exclusions page may show all conflicts, or just those requiring your acknowledgement.

Viewing all assets you are excluded from

To view the list of assets you are excluded from, select My Exclusions in the left navigation bar. The My Exclusions page displays.

Here you can see:

  • The ID of each asset you are excluded from.
  • The name of each asset you are excluded from.
  • The reason for your exclusion.
  • Any exclusions that require your acknowledgement. These are displayed with  on the row of the asset.

Viewing conflict memos of assets you are a conflicted user on

To view additional details about an exclusion resulting from you being a conflicted user on an asset, select that exclusion from the My Exclusions list. The exclusion details page appears. On this page you can see:

  • Asset name.
  • Conflict memo with details of obligations.
  • Additional text on the reason for your exclusion (where applicable).
  • If applicable, the option to acknowledge.

Acknowledging conflicts

If you are required to acknowledge your conflict on an asset, you can do this using the notification email you received, or by using the acknowledgement option on the My Exclusions tab.

TIP:

For a complete list of pending acknowledgements, including for opposing team set membership, see Manage pending acknowledgements (Acknowledgements tab). You can also acknowledge conflicts from that tab.

To acknowledge a conflict using My Exclusions:

  1. Select   on the row of the required asset. The conflicts memo page opens.

  2. Read the memo (and any other information presented), as applicable.

  3. Select Acknowledge to confirm you have read and understood your obligations for that asset. A confirmation message displays.
