Overview
The Customer Onboarding section in iManage Admin Portal provides a centralized set of tools designed to streamline how customers and trusted third parties, such as Partners, submit requests to iManage and manage access to onboarding functions. This section helps organizations move quickly from request to activation by offering structured workflows, visibility into request status, and straightforward administrative controls.
The section includes several purpose‑built pages:
Library Creation: This page lets customers and Partners request a new iManage Work library for an existing tenant through a guided dialog that collects all required information for iManage to evaluate and create the library. Customers can also track the status of their submissions and use search, filter, and sort tools to easily locate and review the details of their requests.
Tenant Creation: This page is designed to initiate new tenant requests. It prompts users for the information needed by iManage to evaluate the request, ensure it aligns with the customer contract, and complete tenant creation. After a request is submitted, users can monitor its progress and organize their submissions using integrated search and sort capabilities.
NOTE: Tenant creation requests are typically submitted by Partners when requesting a tenant for a customer.
Other Services: This page provides a streamlined process for requesting additional cloud services, guiding users through the required details so iManage can review and enable the requested services. Customers and Partners may view the status of their service requests and use built‑in search, filter, and sort tools to manage and review them efficiently.
Onboarding Access: This administrative page allows designated administrators to control who's permitted to use onboarding functions, including adding or removing users as necessary. Only users with the appropriate access management role may manage this page, ensuring secure oversight of onboarding capabilities.
NOTE: The provisional administrator who is first granted access to the tenant is the default user to the Customer Onboarding pages. For most customers, the provisional admin account is cloudadmin@<domain>.com—the initial administrative account created during tenant setup.
