  • Segment: A Customer Data Platform (CDP) from Twilio, that helps to collect, clean, and activate customer data, ensuring that both the Source and Destination are effectively created and maintained. All sensitive data stays encrypted within Segment.

  • Source: A server library/SDK that sends event data to Segment, as captured from Insight+.

  • Destination: A data warehouse that collects event data from Segment, synchronized on an hourly basis.

  • PGP: Pretty Good Privacy (PGP) is an encryption standard used for implementing asymmetric encryption.
