Note the following considerations for performing iManage Work functions:

• You must first connect to a iManage Work Server to perform these actions. Refer to Connect to iManage Work Servers.

• If you are already connected to a iManage Work Server through DeskSite or FileSite, you're automatically connected to the same iManage Work Server.

• If you don't have either DeskSite or FileSite installed on your local system, you can't connect to a iManage Work Server through IRM Desktop Client for Records Managers.
