Modifying Electronic Records
You can modify the records metadata of electronic records in the same way as physical records. Refer to Modify File Parts.

You can perform cutoffs on electronic records in the same way as physical records. Refer to Cut Off File Parts.Closing Electronic Records
The Close command is used to process the Close file preservation event on electronic records. You can process this command in the same way as physical records. Refer to Close File Parts.
NOTE: This command can only be processed on electronic records of media type WS Workspace.
When a electronic record is closed, Records Manager marks the item as Closed and prevents further filing into it. In iManage Work, the access rights to the container change to read-only access to prevent adding items into it.
Relating Electronic Records
You can create two-way relationships between electronic records and other file parts, just as you can with physical records. Refer to Relating File Parts.Marking Electronic Records as Reviewed
You can mark electronic records as vital, and review this classification on a periodic basis. The review cycle should be specified at the matter level. By default, the iManage Records Policy Service maps the Created Date in iManage Work to the Review Date in Records Manager.
