The Compare panel can be expanded or collapsed to support different views. Use expanded view to review comparison results in a larger, side-by-side layout.

In the expanded view, you can view change summary, redline details, and compared documents without losing context in various formats. You can also view the change summary in either tabular format or list format. For information, refer View change summary and redline analysis side-by-side.

Use Collapsed view when you want to return the comparison results panel to its standard size and focus on the main document area.

In Collapsed view, the comparison results remain available in the side panel, but the panel takes up less screen space. This view is useful when you want to continue reviewing the document while keeping the results summary nearby.

To expand or collapse Compare panel,

  1. Open the Compare panel.

  2. To switch from the collapsed side panel to the expanded view, select ask_latest_15.png Show expanded view.

  3. Review the Change Summary, Redline Analysis, and compared documents in the larger side-by-side layout.

  4. To return to the collapsed side panel, select ro_sep_56.png Collapse expanded view.

  5. Continue reviewing changes in the compact panel when you no longer need the expanded layout.
