Overview

Document comparison in iManage platform finds differences between two versions of Microsoft Word documents. You can select a revised document and an original document in the Compare pane and iManage platform then generates a comparison that highlights additions, deletions, and formatting changes.

Redline analysis shows deleted content in the strikethrough and added content as insertions so you can review each line-level change.

In iManage platform, use the Compare option available in iManage platform to compare two Microsoft Word documents and then view the redline analysis of the documents being compared. After the comparing of documents is complete, a redline analysis of the comparison is displayed by default.

Additionally, use the Change Summary option to view an AI-generated narrative of what changed and its overall impact instead of line-by-line markup.

Supported file types

You can use the Compare option to compare two Microsoft Word documents. When you compare two non Microsoft Word documents, the comparison results may be limited.
