Threat Manager tracks import activity and can notify administrators of errors or inactivity. This section explains how task status is displayed and how notifications work.
In this section:
Import task status display
You can view the status of import tasks in Configuration > Settings > Status. Each task displays two timestamp fields:
Last Seen: The most recent time the importer attempted to connect with iManage Threat Manager, regardless of whether the import was successful.
Last Import: The outcome of the most recent import attempt and its timestamp.
A green checkmark indicates a successful import.
A red X indicates failure, along with an associated error message. If a subsequent import succeeds, the error message is cleared automatically.
Task: Remove a displayed import task status
Use this procedure to remove a task identifier from the status view.
Go to Configuration > Settings > Status.
Locate the row for the task you want to remove and select the icon.
Select Remove.
Confirm the action when prompted.
Import task notifications
Two types of notifications can be triggered for import tasks:
Import errors: Alerts you when an issue occurs during metadata import.
Inactivity alerts: Notifies you if no import activity has been detected after a specified number of days.
For configuration instructions, refer to System > External Metadata Importer Notifications.
