Introduction

You can link folders and subfolders in your Microsoft Outlook mailbox to an iManage Work folder. When messages are moved to these linked Outlook folders, they are automatically copied or moved to the corresponding iManage Work folder during synchronization.

Delegates you authorize can also create linked folders in Outlook on your behalf. Any folder they create will list you—the mailbox owner—as the folder owner. All existing and future emails in the linked folder are automatically filed to the mapped iManage Work folder.

NOTE: iManage Work for Outlook supports a maximum of 1,000 linked folders per mailbox.

Emails are filed when iManage Work for Outlook synchronizes with iManage Work. Synchronization occurs every 24 hours or whenever you select the Sync mailbox on the Settings tab in the iManage Work task pane.
