Support for launching custom protocols from the Work Panel

Some third-party web extensions use custom URL schemes to invoke specific functionality in installed desktop applications using a custom protocol handler. For security reasons, the iManage Work panel in Microsoft Outlook launches only those custom URL schemes that are explicitly authorized. To specify the custom schemes that the panel should support, add those schemes in a registry setting.

To add custom URL schemes:

1. Create or add to the AllowedCustomProtocols key in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\iManage\Work\10.0\EMM\WorkPane location if it currently does not exist.

2. For each custom URL scheme , add a string entry with the custom URL prefix as its name . Entries do not need a value. As examples,

• For the custom URL scheme iman://www.ajubalaw.com/compareapp, use string name = iman

• For the custom URL scheme ajuba://www.ajubalaw.com, use string name = ajuba
