In the Ivanti Endpoint Manager Mobile admin portal, add the desired Microsoft apps (Microsoft Word, etc.) into the App Catalog.

Prior to completing this step, you must configure an AppTunnel per the Ivanti documentation.

Disable managed apps saving to un-managed apps

  1. In the top menu bar of the Ivanti administrator portal, go to Policies & Configs > Add New > Apple  > iOS / tvOS > Restrictions
    • Uncheck the Allow documents from managed apps to unmanaged apps option. This prevents corporate (managed) apps from saving iManage documents to public (unmanaged) applications, such as Dropbox.
    • Ensure the Allow documents from unmanaged apps to managed apps option is enabled. This enables users to move content from public (unmanaged) applications such as Dropbox to iManage Work.
  2. Click Save.
