As an administrator for your organization, you must configure a specific block of eight IP addresses to allowlist Segment to access or load data into your database.

1. Sign in to Microsoft Azure portal.

2. Select segment-postgres > Settings > Networking.

3. Update the following fields:

   • Firewall rule name: Enter Segment Allowlist.

   • Start IP address: Enter 3.251.148.96

   • End IP address: Enter 3.251.148.103
     
     NOTE: Ensure the following checkboxes are selected:
     - Allow public access to this resource through the internet using a public IP address.
     - Allow public access from any Azure Service within Azure to this server.

4. Select Save.
   After updating and saving the security settings, the ”Successfully updated the connection security settings” message is displayed.
