Each component in the iManage Disposition Manager left pane performs specific functions. The components and their primary functions are described as follows:
The File Plan page is visible to both Records Managers and Disposition Reviewers and gives you a high-level view of all the libraries, clients, workspaces, folders, and records.
NOTE: The libraries, clients, workspaces, folders, and records structure in iManage Disposition Manager mirror the structure in iManage Work at cloudimanage.com. If you've applied retention schedule and assigned disposition reviewers in iManage Work at cloudimanage.com, this information is displayed in iManage Disposition Manager.
Records Managers and Disposition Reviewers can only see the libraries, clients, workspaces, folders, and records to which they have access.
The Holds page is visible only to Records Managers and can be used to view all the holds available, create new holds, and modify or delete existing holds.
The Destroyed Records page is visible only to Records Managers and displays all the workspaces, folders, subfolders, and records that iManage Disposition Manager has destroyed.
IMPORTANT: When records are destroyed, they are deleted from iManage Work at cloudimanage.com and cannot be retrieved or restored.
Records aren't destroyed immediately when events to destroy records are created, or added to a schedule, or applied to workspaces, folder, or sub-folders. Records are destroyed when tasks defined by these destroy events are manually or automatically executed.
NOTE: Records Manager can also view timelines of the destroyed record. The timelines are available at workspace, folder, and record level and provide information about what schedules were applied to the records, hold applied (if any), and when the records were destroyed.
The Schedules page is visible only to Records Managers and can be used to view all the schedules available, create new schedules, modify or delete existing schedules.
The Events page is visible only to Records Managers and can be used to view all the events available, create new events, modify, and delete existing events. Events should be added to schedules so that specific action can be taken on the records.
The Disposition Review page is visible to Records Managers and Disposition Reviewers. It shows records scheduled for destruction—either pre-approved, denied, approved, or pending approval—based on the review mode set in Disposition Review Settings.
Disposition Reviewers can approve, if required or deny tasks in the Disposition Review page.
NOTE: If records needs to be approved and either Disposition Reviewers are not available or it is the past the set time, Records Managers can approve the tasks. Additionally, they can approve tasks previously denied.
The Reports page is visible only to Records Managers and can be used to view all the reports, download existing reports, and create and download new reports.
The Tasks page is visible only to Records Managers and can be used to view all the triggered tasks in the Trigger tab, upcoming tasks in the Upcoming tab, and tasks that weren't completed due to errors in Errors tab.
Records Managers can recalculate upcoming tasks or execute upcoming tasks if the criteria is met in the Upcoming tab. They can also add additional reviewers, approve or deny tasks in the Upcoming tab.
