Diagnostic tool

If you encounter any issue with iManage Work Desktop for Mac, run the diagnostic tool to capture logs, system configuration, and other details. It collects the following information:

  • Mac OS version

  • iManage client version

  • Office version

  • Root-level and user-level com.imanage.configuration.plist file

  • iManage Logs folder

  • Work server and web server build

  • Supported apps version

  • Home folder path

  • Current user name

  • Shell version and its type

To run the tool, perform the following steps:

  1. Right-click Finder and select Go to Folder, or click on your Mac desktop and then select the Go menu > Go to Folder option.

  2. In the Go to the Folder box, enter the following path: /Library/Application Support/iManage/Script/.

  3. Press the Return key on your Mac.

  4. Double-click Diagnostic Tool.
    The tool adds a ZIP file to the Downloads folder. Send this to your IT administrator for troubleshooting.
