Connecting to iManage Work Servers

Do the following to connect to iManage Work Servers from Microsoft Office applications (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook), Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, or Adobe Acrobat applications ( Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC ) using the keyboard:

  1. Open any of the above mentioned application.

  2. Press ALT and then press the shortcut key displayed in the application to navigate to the iManage tab. For example, press Y2 in Microsoft Word or I in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC to access the iManage tab.
    Alternatively, use the RIGHT/LEFT and UP/DOWN arrow keys to access the iManage tab. You can also use Tab to access the iManage tab when working with Microsoft Office applications or Microsoft Visio.

  3. Press the shortcut key displayed in the application to access the Connect dropdown. For example, press Y1 in Microsoft Word or C in Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the Connect dropdown list.
    Alternatively, use the UP/DOWN arrow keys to access the Connect dropdown list..

  4. Press the shortcut key displayed in the application (for example, C) to open the Login dialog box. Use TAB to toggle between the Enter web address for iManage Server field and the Login button. Press ENTER to open the sign-in dialog box.
    Alternatively, if there are a list of iManage Work Servers in the Connect dropdown list or you want to connect to one of the listed servers, use the UP and DOWN arrows to navigate through the list. You can also press the shortcut key displayed in the application (for example, press 1 or 2 or, and so on).
    Once the required iManage Work Server is selected, press ENTER to open the sign-in dialog box.

  5. Use TAB to toggle between the username and password fields.

  6. Press ENTER to connect to the iManage Work Server.
