Section 508 accessibility
iManage Work Desktop for Windows now provides enhanced accessibility in accordance with U.S. Section 508 government regulations.
You can now use JAWS 2021 or JAWS 2022 screen reading software to read:
iManage tab, ribbon, menus, dialog boxes, and panels available in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Visio, and MS Project applications
iManage tab, menus, dialog boxes, and panels available in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Adobe Acrobat Pro DC
Email Management toolbar and Select Filing Location dialog box in Microsoft Outlook

iManage Work Desktop for Windows supports the following assistive technology and is tested with the following environments:

Your administrator can enable enhanced accessibility by configuring the iManageEnhancedAccessibility setting to Y in the imWorkOptions.xml configuration file. This is used to activate functions that work around circumstances when JAWS cannot read iManage Work UI components. For more information, contact your administrator or refer to the imWorkOptions.xml section in the iManage Work Desktop for Windows Customization Guide.
With this option enabled, ensure that you press the TAB key to enable JAWS to read the text displayed in a iManage dialog boxes and to navigate through the iManage dialog boxes.
